Ghost Hunts

Booking Agreement.  By booking you are agreeing to all terms and conditions laid out by The Spirit parlour. Participants indemnify The Spirit Parlour and its employees and subcontractors from  and against all liability in respect of any costs, claims damages, demands, penalties, actions, proceedings, suits, losses, or expenses in respect of or arising from the injury or death of any person, or damage to any property arising from participation in the event. We advise that you make personal arrangements regarding insurance (we do however have full public liability insurance).

We operate a strict no drugs or alcohol policy. Anybody arriving under the influence or is suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be asked to leave with no refund given. Anybody suspected of bringing drugs and/or alcohol to the event will also be asked to leave with no refund given.

The Spirit Parlour will not be liable for any loss, theft or damage to equipment and other effects including vehicles belonging to participants before during and after the event however caused (this includes paranormal activity).

Occasionally it is necessary to cancel an event due to events outside of our control. If this is to happen you will receive a full refund of your fee within 28 days of us informing you of the cancelation. We are not responsible for any other expenses incurred by the cancellation including your travel and accommodation costs.  

All ticket sales are non returnable. However if you are unable to attend please get in touch as we may be oversubscribed and able to reallocate your ticket (an administration fee of 15% will be deducted to cover banking and administration costs).  We make no guarantee that we can but will endeavour to help you if possible.

We cannot guarantee that you will experience any paranormal Activity or that any will take place. Investigating the paranormal and any related evidence is always subjective.  Spirit has a free will as do we.

We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the evidence presented by our mediums relating to the property or personal messages that you might receive from them (however we will not knowingly fake any phenomena or information). All opinions given are that of the individuals and in no way represent those of the Spirit Parlour.

  Health and Safety. All rules and guidance should be adhered to at all times. The Spirit Parlour cannot be held responsible for any physical, psychological or long term illness and injury or death as a result of attending our events. Investigating the paranormal can be hazardous and all clients attend at their own risk.

All participants are to remain with their groups; guests are not permitted to freely roam the locations -this is for your safety and the protection of the location.

At no time (unless given prior permission) are guests to sit on or use furniture or artefacts present at the location.   

There is a no smoking policy on all of our events however if the location has a designated area for smoking we will make you aware of this. We ask that you only use this facility during refreshment breaks.

No naked flames, candles or oil/incense burners may be used at anytime throughout the evening. Unless put in place and operated by the location owners or their agents (who will take full responsibility for them).

  E-Shop   

Customers have the right to cancel an order within 7 working days for any reason, and return the item to receive a refund. The refund will be less 15% due to credit card transaction fees, postage and handling fees. The goods must be returned in original condition (we cannot be held responsible for damage in return transit so please pack carefully). Customers are liable for their own postage costs. If an order is cancelled before despatch has taken place a refund less 10% will be given.

If you wish to return a faulty or damaged item please email us at info@thespiritparlour.com with the problem and we will endeavour to rectify it quickly and fairly.

We do our best to make sure the information on the site is accurate; however we reserve the right to change the details of products, prices and postage costs, also to withdraw products or cancel a sale if we have made an error.

We reserve the right to cancel an order if we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment or the product is out of stock.

The above conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

 Forum, Blog and Events  

By accessing our forum and blog you are accepting the terms and conditions of The Spirit Parlour.

As the forum is accessible to the public and not constantly monitored we cannot guarantee that inappropriate or offensive material will not be present or viewed. We will however remove it as soon as is possible.

Blogs are invitation only and are not available to the general public (if you would like a blog mail us at info@thespiritparlour.com with a bit about yourself and what you have to offer). The Spirit Parlour reserves the right to remove blogs or postings at any time.

All opinions expressed within the forum and blog are solely those of the individual and in no way represent those of The Spirit Parlour.

No form of abuse or persecution will be tolerated within the site this includes racism, sexism, homophobia, or persecution of any belief or religion. Any posts contain abuse or persecution or perceived to by us will be removed and the posting member banned from the site.

No posts are to contain sexually explicit images, content or links to web sites that contain such material. This will lead to members being banned and posts removed

No swearing or explicit language is to be used at any time. This will also lead to removal from the site.

 Any other misuse or perceived misuse of the forum and or blog will lead to removal from the site.

No forum posts are to contain links to other sites or be used to advertise events or the sale of goods and services. If you wish to link with us please use the link exchange.

If you wish to advertise an event please submit your details via the link on the events page. And we will consider your request. We reserve the right to remove listings at any time.  

We cannot be held responsible for events that are advertised and operated by third parties any complaints should be directed the individuals or company concerned.

All material, content and images  within the site are and remain copyright of the Spirit Parlour and may not be used not be used elsewhere by third parties without our written consent. 

The Spirit Parlour reserves the right to change or amend these terms and conditions at any time, and will post any changes on the web site www.thespiritparlour.com.
